Yasaar Limited, a London-based provider of independent value-added Shariah compliance solutions to the Islamic banking, finance and insurance industry, has set up its human resources firm, Yasaar Human Capital, in Dubai.

Yasaar Human Capital, a specialist executive search and human resources firm working within the Islamic finance sphere, aims to capitalise on the growth and strength of the Islamic finance industry, said a senior official.

The launch of Yasaar Human Capital, based in the Dubai International Financial Centre, is further evidence that the UAE economy is back on a path to growth, remarked managing director of Yasaar Human Capital, Fuwad Beg.

Being headquartered in Dubai is a testament to the leadership role that the emirate is taking in the development of the Islamic finance industry, Beg added.

According to him, the team behind Yasaar Human Capital focuses on executive search, talent management, advisory, and leadership within the Islamic finance domain both within mature and immature markets.

"The Islamic finance industry has reached a level of maturity and sophistication which means that it requires leaders with specialist skills and knowledge. Our goal is to foster and nurture that talent and ensure that the future growth of the industry is both focused and strong. We do that by placing the best people within the best roles,’ he added.

Yasaar chief executive Majid Dawood, said the launch of Yasaar Human Capital was the next step in strengthening and building the Yasaar brand as a leader in Islamic finance.

"Yasaar Limited is already a leading Shariah consultancy and Yasaar Media is on its way to becoming a leader in the Islamic finance media space. Yasaar Human Capital will be a great help in lifting the quality of talent in the industry," he pointed out.

This year marks a critical turning point in the history of the Yasaar Group as the company branches out into different areas of the Islamic finance arena through offering a variety of market-leading products and services, he added.
